Workday Wardrobe ~ April 13-17
MONDAY
You’ll have to take my word for it that I did not look like a drowned rat all day. I had to go into work…and the pharmacy…and the post office…all while it was typhooning outside. Linen does not recover well from being rained on.
I wore “business on top” because I had a zoom call in the morning with someone from an outside agency…and casual on the bottom because I knew I was going to be erranding and lugging some boxes around at work.
TUESDAY
That time I wore a puppy. It might have been a Tuesday. I don’t remember. But I had a nightgown-all-the-livelong-day day today. No need to repeat that picture.
WEDNESDAY
Blurry and schlumpy and wrinkled. OH WELL WHATEVER (<- my coronavirus motto)
THURSDAY
You saw this one already.
FRIDAY
Not leaving the premises but thought there’d be a zoom. There was not.
Workday Wardrobe is circling the bowl. I might come up with something different for next week. Maybe. It’ll be a surprise!

I’m impressed you’re dressing up at all. Though they say you are more productive if you get out of your pj’s. I wouldn’t know!
bettyewp
Yeah, I’m no more productive dressed than undressed. I don’t know who “they” are that say that, but they’re saying it all the time and I’m like INCORRECT.
Rhonda
Yup! Leggings and cami with a long cardigan….leggings with long sweatshirt….leggings with just about anything long and comfy…thatβs my new outfit of choice. Might as well be comfy!!! And makeup? ….NOPE!
bettyewp
At best, if I’m doing blog photos, I do a swipe of mascara and lipstick…but that’s all I do most normal days anyway.
Yeah, leggings sales must be going through the roof right now!!!

You wore a puppy?? I want to wear a puppy!!! Oh how darling. What? No story about how that came to be…come on. Inquiring minds want to know!!

Hunter was THE cutest puppy! Such a fierce-looking floof! Now he’s a big floof that thinks he’s a horse and spends all his time with them at my niece’s barn.
Donna
Well, I must love the pic of you on the dress!! Of course, beautiful and entertaining writing as always!!
You certainly find the fun in all things and are an inspiration!!

Inspiration is a strong word, Donna π I never think of myself as trying (well, except when I tell the American readers to get their “vote-by-mail” thingies done) to inspire or influence. I feel like I’m just sharing my experience of bumbling along trying to do anything.
But thanks – that’s nice to hear!
Cheryl
In times like these its so great to read your uplifting blog and to see the beautiful photo of you and puppy. I like all your outfits, you wear them well.
bettyewp
I appreciate your comments, Cheryl, but I always have to laugh when anyone describes me or anything I do as “uplifting.”
I wish in real life I could be more like I am on the internet. But.
Susan
You are certainly doing better than I am. Iβve been wearing sweats all week. Is that your grand puppy?
bettyewp
If I wasn’t putting pictures of myself on the internet for all the world (well, you 12) to see, I would be wearing sweats everyday, too π
No, that’s my puppeh-nephew (one of my ex’es dogs, Hunter the King Shepherd). I haven’t met my grandpuppeh yet as she lives very very far away in San Diego π

My faves are the first linen-look outfit and the black and white. You have the best hair cut and color, too. And I love that door with the twinkling lights for your backdrop.
bettyewp
Ahh, the twinkly light door, one of my favorite possessions!
I’ve been lucky in that my hairstylist cut my hair WAY too short last time, so even though I’m at almost 12 weeks post-cut, it’s still okay. My bangs could use a trim but I usually do those by myself anyway. I’m debating letting them grow out a bit as long as I’m just in the house and no one’s seeing me anyway and I’m not having to deal with THE ELEMENTS (the bane of my hair’s existence).
Hope you’re doing alright!
