Workday Wardrobe ~ July 27-31
Last week of July, wow. I feel so discombobulated these days with doing something different, going somewhere different, for work every day. I’m lucky I get any clothes on at all and am at least semi-appropriate for wherever I am or whatever I’m doing.
MONDAY
This was Monday off and you already saw this outfit earlier this week but I figured I would add it to round out the week especially cuz….
TUESDAY
…Tuesday was a fail. I did wear clothes. But forgot about a picture. I was wearing the feather Junarose dress. I believe you’ve seen it.
WEDNESDAY
I looked a little put-together together today.
THURSDAY
And today I looked like a birthday cake. Which I’m not mad at.
FRIDAY
Worked from home today but had to run out to the bank for lunch so changed from The Nightgown…to The Nightgown Dress.
It was a very blue week.
What I Wore

- Taupe Suede Arizona Birkenstocks

- Keds Champions sneakers
Pamela Gray
I’m inspired by your tying your button downs, so tried one myself this week! It looked good- better than I expected. I guess the trick is a thinner shirt without too much bulk? Sorry I can’t figure out how to attach a photo. 🙃

Thinner shirts do work better…and if they’re a little more oversized there’s more fabric to work with for tying. Some work so perfectly and make a nice tidy “bow.” Others are a big clumpy lump, ha.
And tee shirts are even easier cuz a) stretchy fabric and b) you don’t have to actually tie a knot, you can just twist some up and put a ponytail holder around it so it’s sort of like a hairbun!

Come on, Jodie! Get with the program, haha! I’ve got the birthday cake top, the night gown dress, the junarose dress, which I realize that is the labels name but to me it defines the shape and style and fabric of the dress like when I say “the junarose dress, I picture a very specific thing in my mind not just that dress. I’m sure I have other named dresses I’m just not thinking of them right now.

Yeah, who DOESN’T want to look like a birthday cake!?!
Shirley Horst
I like the birthday cake outfit!
bettyewp
Thanks, Shirley! It’s a fave of mine. I don’t wear it a whole lot cuz I don’t want the top to lose its “specialness.” Yes, I have become my mother with the closet of “good towels” saved for the annual trip to Ocean City, MD.

Cake. 😂😂😂😂I really like the top though. It’s very boho and very me. I also think I need to start tying my shirts.
