Match Made in Seven: Fall Fashion Favorites
Welcome to the monthly edition of Match Made in Seven! We are an international group of fashion bloggers who meet virtually once a month. One of us chooses a theme each month, and that can be anything: a book, music, a color, a movie. And then we all style an outfit based on that theme.
This month’s theme was chosen by Debbie of Debbie Style’s Life and is “Fall Fashion Favorites.” See my post about the theme below…and be sure to take a look at my fellow bloggers to see how they have interpreted the theme this month.

I found it nearly impossible to come up with ONE favorite fall look…so I’m going to share several!
Probably my favorite element of fall fashion, is the rich, warm colors: chestnut, rust, pumpkin, ochre, golden and mustard yellow. And I like the cozy feel of layers in the cool fall air, especially after the hot days of summer when you want as little as possible against your skin!
Autumn is probably the only time of the year that I really wear saturated colors.
The rich colors of fall all work easily with my base of neutrals – white, black, black and white stripes and blue chambray.
It’s nice to be able to wear light jackets comfortably.
And I really love autumn colors with white jeans! Almost more than the pastels and light tones of spring and summer!
What are your fall fashion favorites??

I love all of the gorgeous Fall colors you featured in your outfits, Bettye! Beautiful job! And, I must say, you find such awesome places for your photo shoots. Love it!

Thanks, Debbie! I think fall is the only time I’m tempted to stray from my usual neutral vibe!

Such great examples of fall style and color, Bettye. I especially love the denim dress outfit and the floral dress. Debbie made this one a bit easier for us, didn’t she? Lol!
Take care, my blogging friend! “See” you next month!

I am in love with all your recent looks Bettye. You are killing it! Fall might be your season.

Thanks, Sarah! I think you might be right. In the summer I’m trying, more than anything, to just NOT BE HOT. I can get a little more creative with layering in the cold weather 🙂

The colors are my very favorite thing too (besides the leaves!) and I love pairing them together. You already know that I love the mustard dress, but that chestnut cardi is pretty fabulous too! xo

I’d say my fall favorites are color (but that’s every season, I guess) along with the boots. For some reason the boots just call my name.
That leopard cardigan is just so fabulous on you Bettye. I can’t wait to see more of it.
XOXO

I am loving all your yummy fall-colored things here! And I agree, it’s SO nice to be able to wear jackets (and tall boots) comfortably without getting too hot!
I’m also a sucker for a good sweater- like come late October, just wrap me up in all the cozy things!

These are all great looks. I like the bit of leopard with the floral dress. I’m liking the denim dress with leopard cardi, too (Hmm, I’m sensing a theme!) .

I can’t pick a favorite look! These are all great. Fall is my favorite style season because of all the colors and patterns you’re wearing – so very cozy and comfortable.

Thanks, Daenel! Summer is easier, but fall has so many more options!
