Week in Review: Week 202
Straying from the usual format this week as really, nothing exciting is going on. I worked all week. One night I went to the market, another night I sat the car dealer for two hours getting a headlight replaced, one night I met friends at the diner for dinner. Bam.
So, just some pictures from the weekend. How about you? Do anything different last week?
May I just say…I’m So On Trend with My Too-Long Pants?!?
We had some light snow on Saturday. It was pretty, but I was stuck out driving in it, which I hate. I managed to get up the driveway, so yay. And snow calls for reading on the sofa…
good morning

Looking out
Am I the only one who sees two little girls and a teddy bear? One of the girls has a horse head on. You see it, right?
Cat Lady
Looks like the opening credits of Orange is the New Black
That’s a painting
Florida has pretty. Who knew??
Goodnight
Have a good week, everyone!

Ha ha! Florida has pretty. I know! When we visited about 15 years ago we couldn’t see the ocean no matter how hard we tried. It’s all private where we were and gave up looking after a week. And I see the little girl and the mom with curlers in her hair and she’s looking at the huge mess from the tea party. Have a wonderful week Bettye!

Yep, I get hair curler mom with tea party mess. I like when art is like clouds and you can see what you want to see.
Nancy
Okay, where you see two girls, I see a cake! Haha! Have a great week!
bettyewp
Ooh, cake?!? I like cake!
Marceline Miller
How’d you like “The Shipping News?” Good book, but bleak, i thought. Probably just right for a snowy Sat

I just started it that afternoon. Feel like I’m liking it though I don’t know if I’m really into the meat of it yet. Just realized I forgot my “what I’m reading” part of week in review. Oh well, will add it to next weeks.
Melissa
Snow! Beautiful pics as always.
All I see are two girls and a blue teddy bear face at this point. Haha
My reading preferences these last few months has been more self help(ish) and spirituality. My mom died from breast cancer last year and it caused me to start asking some big life questions.
bettyewp
So sorry about your mother, Melissa 🙁
I love the CONCEPT of reading books on self-help and spirituality, but I find I can never get through them. I even buy them sometimes and put them in The Stack but I’m secretly hoping to glean their wisdom through osmosis without actually having to READ them. I’m a child and need a STORY to get me engaged.

Okay…I do see the girls and teddy bear but at first I thought you were crazy, because I was looking at the window photo instead. LOL

Snow and reading – great combination. If it’s snowing – I’m inside!

I used to love walking with Caleb in the snow…it’s not as much fun alone. Now I read.
