Apologies for this week’s pictures…I was trying a couple different things. Obviously, none of these worked out 🙁

Ah yes, Tuesday. Isn’t that the day you got lost taking a walk?? We actually were a little worried for you!!
But I love that orange dress (you knew I was going to say that)!!

Ha ha, I get turned around really easily – walking or driving. I wasn’t too worried cuz it’s not that big a preserve, I was more annoyed cuz I’d wanted to walk longer but I ended up on a path that took me directly back to my car!
One time a couple years ago I DID get REALLY lost, in a GIANT preserve…and the sun was going down and it was cold…and I had no sense whatsoever of which way I was headed. I did have Caleb with me but he was useless, he was just gonna go whichever way I went. After about 20 minutes of really getting concerned that it was going to be dark and then I’d REALLY never find my way out and possibly have my car locked into the parking lot for the night (I’ve had THAT happen), I happened across a human and while I had a moment of, “this is a perfect rape/murder situation,” I asked him if he was headed back to the parking lot and if so could I follow him. Fortunately he said yes, did not rape OR murder me…and I eventually got back to my car. It was a little scary.

I love the orange dress too – BUT, if you’re not comfortable/happy in it, then surely let it go. I have a couple of things like that and I need to get them out of my closet.
BTW, how did Janey feel about that pose? Emma Grace would not have been still long enough for a photo, and Boots is too big.

Ha ha, that’s Janey’s signature “stick cat” pose. Katie used to dangle her like that all the time. She’s so long and lean. And Janey loves EVERYTHING you do to her as long as you’re TOUCHING her. Her love language is definitely physical affection.

I agree with everyone above-I love that particular shade of burnt orange on you with your emerging new hair color. It’s that signature pop of color you always strive for—- maybe it’s the dress not the color that you don’t care for! I love the blue slacks, white shirt, and sweater look too- looks comfy and professional!

I *was* very happy with my Friday outfit. The navy slacks, white buttondown, and camel cardigan. That’s a combo I’ll wear A LOT.

Another vote for the orange dress, especially with that cardigan. I like the shape, and it looks great. Is it comfortable to wear, no hidden issues? I also like the other dress look, and I’m not a dress person.
I need to use your tips from a few weeks ago and go thru my closet. Your suggestions made a lot of sense and didn’t make the task too intimidating.

Yeah, I can’t pinpoint what it is about it. I don’t DISLIKE it. I just don’t ever want to WEAR it. Which is exactly the point of my closet cleanout method.
I mean, I like the color, I like the fabric, it’s roomy and comfortable, I love a band collar. By all rights I should want to wear this dress every single day 🙂 But I don’t.
