Style Session: How to Style Maroon
Maroon, wine, burgundy, whatever you call it, it’s a beautiful jewel-tone for fall and more versatile than you might think. There are times I think EVERY color is a neutral!
I don’t have a ton of maroon in my wardrobe right now but I tend to go through phases where I have a lot…then I have none. I don’t wear it that often cuz I’m in such a non-color color mode right now that it feels extra vibrant and attention-grabbing to me and that is not usually my MO.
I think maroon goes with so many other colors: Grey, navy, white, mustard, blue jean blue, olive green, taupe, burnt orange, black, cream, camel. I’m sure there are others I’m not even thinking of. And leopard! I love maroon with leopard!
There are many variations within the shade (as with all colors); it can lean towards the purple side (cooler) or the browner side (warmer). If you’re someone who pays attention to what colors look good on you, keep this in mind.

I like the maroon/wine dress with laces at neck and black cardigan, and white spotted blouse with maroon cardigan. but most of them look very nice.
