Workday Wardrobe ~ Nov 9-13
MONDAY
The world is so pretty right now. I love autumn colors. I hope Mr. Landlord doesn’t blow my leaves away just yet. I like walking through them on my way to the car.
Top: Navy Rossriss/Vislilly Top. Remember the wine top with the perfect v-neck and sleeves? This is it’s big brother. Generously gifted by them. Size 3x.
Jacket: Loft Utility Jacket, size 22/24. Comparable here and here.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jeans, size 22 short.
Sneakers: Black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Slip-on Sneakers
TUESDAY
Yay for mild fall days so I can keep wearing dresses. This one is so so fun to wear, so much fabric to swish around in. Downside: I’m always running over the dress with my rolly chair at work. Damn rolly chair.
Dress: Osei-Duro Layer Dress in Bullfrog Green, size 3x
Cardigan: Old Navy Cardigan, size 2x. Sold out. Comparable here and here.
Sneakers: Keds Champions
WEDNESDAY
Oops. I was off from work today and should have shot the outfit early in the day cuz it was raining by early afternoon and then I just forgot. And weirdly, I was wearing the same mustardy striped shirt I forgot to photograph two weeks ago!
THURSDAY
My Daily Humiliation: Practicing dance moves. And by “practicing” I mean flailing about in front of the mirror until I’m either laughing too hard or so disgusted by my lack of coordination that I can’t go on.
Top: Black tee, uhm, I kinda forget. It’s old. It’s a tee. It’s black.
Other Top: BP/Nordstrom Plaid Flannel Buttondown, size 4x. Old. Comparable here and here.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, size 22 short.
Sneakers: Black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Slip-on Sneakers
FRIDAY
On rainy days we be schlubby. It’s allowed. It’sĀ expected.
Top:
Cardigan: Avenue Waffle Knit Waterfall Hoodie, size 3x. A magical unicorn from another place and time. Let me know if you see one.
Jeans: Old Navy High-Waisted Secret Slim Power Straight Leg jeans, size 22 short
Sneakers: Black Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Slip-on Sneakers

I’ve said it before, that green dress is just lovely and you always look so good wearing it.
Also I really like the black plaid shirt and black jeans – nice!
You have a good weekend too!

The green dress SO FUN to wear! You’re literally OBLIGATED to twirl and swoosh in it. There’s THAT much floaty fabric.
How are things over there in your neck of the woods? Still coviding?

Just realized upon reading your last post that I am not receiving them even though I signed up…which could mean I was beer typing. SO…I signed up again, still beer typing.
Also, I am a terrible dancer… Elaine Benes bad. So yay you for putting it out there.
Re: rainy days, I be schlubby in all weather since March. Oh, to care to wear a dress.
Again, yay you.

Ha ha Elaine Benes dancing. She’s my dance idol š Talk about dancing like nobody’s watching š Goals.

On rainy days we wear rain boots here because I don’t have many days that they get to come out and play, LOL!!
And I love that you like walking through the leaves!!!

A super windstorm last night blew all the leaves to the edges and the center of the patio is clear now. Boo.

I recommend doing dance moves NOT in front of a mirror. It’s much easier to convince yourself that you’re elegant, fluid, funky and totally coordinated. When you’re done, you can dance/walk out the door to your life and savour the illusion all day. xo karen

ha ha ha ha ha YES! Wait til you see my “I am an elegant gazelle” picture later this week, HA.
Spoiler alert: I am not an elegant gazelle.
