Plus Size Outfit of the day ~ September 15, 2022
I did not disappear again! We Had our Adventureland (amusement park) event last night and by the time I got home I was sweat-soaked and crippled, ha ha. I take pictures there, so I just loop around and around and around the park for three hours. Walked 2 miles, which is a lot for me. Woke up all through the night with bad thigh cramps, ugh.
My wrist did that thing again that it does that feels like someone jabbing an ice pick into the joint when I turn it a certain way…so I actually made an appt and went to the dr this afternoon and will go for an x-ray tomorrow morning cuz they can’t tell anything by just looking at it. It FEELS like something dislocates…and then eventually it sort of clicks back into place and then the pain is (mostly) gone. But it’s done this four times now in the past few weeks and I’m a little concerned about it happening while I’m driving. So checking it out I am.
WHO EVEN AM I RIGHT NOW??
Was a lovely no humidity day so I got to wear a thing over a thing, which is my favorite. Well, really my second favorite. My FAVORITE favorite is a thing over a thing over a thing.
That’s coming.
The Thing: Osei-Duro dress, 3x. 2020.
The Thing Over the Thing: Kate Hill linen button-down, 3x. Thrifted, circa 2017.
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons. 2021

My favorite thing is No Thing.

Hahah 🙂 I believe the dress code at work forbids that, but…

So here’s the smart a$$ side of me….why isn’t it a thing under a thing under a thing?

Because a thing UNDER a thing, by nature, is more form fitting and probably…less fabric, like a cami or tank…I put these in the category of “things I wouldn’t wear WITHOUT something over it.” I don’t like the feel of form-fitting things on my body…and somehow form-fitting things always shift left on me – I don’t know why, I mean, a lot of things do, but when something is snug and UNDER something, and shifts, it’s an ORDEAL to get it straightened out. Now, I can wear a loose-fitting tee and put a button-down or loose-fitting sweater over that…but the tee COULD be a stand-alone, as it’s neither too form-fitting or skin (not FAT, but SKIN – I just want to make the distinction cuz I don’t care about showing my FAT…but I don’t care for showing too much SKIN, especially at work) revealing.
So yeah, I always say I like wearing a thing over thing…but NOT a thing UNDER a thing…and while they seem like the same thing…they’re not.
