Week in Review: Weeks 111-112
FINALLY. There have finally been some nice days…and my feet didn’t hurt (as much) and I wasn’t stressed about work and I got my taxes paid and I had a little more time for fun with friends and Caleb had a good week…and yeah. I feel like I was able to let out a BIG exhale that I’ve been holding in for a long time. The best thing was really getting out of my little box this weekend and getting the heck out of Dodge. That is the most energizing thing to me. So yay.
Flowers are finally starting to bloom around the neighborhood.
Uhm, chickens.
Yummy Portugese waffle treats.
Janey.
Neighbor cat. Let’s call him Pepe.
#NationalAmarettoDay
Mango Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce. OHMYGOSH.

Who knew there was a whole world.
Went to the museum.
Uhm, okay.
Sometimes I don’t get art.
The basement had beautiful light.
This week involved a lot of eating.
Roadside stop.
Visited Stonecrop Gardens in Cold Spring, NY.

A New Friend.
Phew. And now it is 8pm on Sunday evening and I’m exhausted and going to bed soon. Back to work tomorrow! Got anything fun planned in the week ahead??

WOW, you did have a full week. I’m envious. I don’t get out much – just work, church, home. I need to work on that!

Yeah, it’s been a long time since I’ve gotten out as much as I did this. It was nice…and now I have some catching up to do this week!

😂😂😂😂😂😂spandexworld????😂😂😂😂😂okay enough of that, I’m waiting for hubby to come home and we can eat. So, I’m hungry. It’s not a great idea to read your blog when you are hungry, it’s like doing the groceries when you are hungry.😀😀😀

Spandexworld. Can you even?? Ha, yeah, I do seem to post a lot about food, don’t I? Eating out is one of my favorite things to do. When I was at the doctor a couple weeks ago for my 6-month check-up I realized that I’d regained the 20lbs I lost last year during radiation (now THAT’S a diet!). And for a split second I thought, “Oh I should try and lose that again” and practically before I’d finished that thought in my head I was like yeah, no, I don’t really want to do that 🙂 I want bakery and ice cream and pizza 🙂

You always have such great photos and captions, Bettye!!
I didn’t realize it was national amaretto day. Is it too late, you think, to join in??
And those macaroons…aren’t they wonderful? Truth be told, I just bought a package at Sams, thinking I could use them for some Instagram posts….my how my world has changed!!
XOXO
