Week in Review: Week 138
The weeks when I have NOTHING to share in Week in Review posts should be a wake-up call to me. HELLO! YOU’RE NOT REALLY LIVING RIGHT NOW!!! Usually when I’m writing the week in review post, I can’t necessarily remember what I did 6 or 7 days ago so I go to my phone’s camera roll for a reminder. This week it’s all pictures from work and snaps I took of things on the internet I want to remember to go back to. And that is exactly what this week was. And that’s not good.
I did go for a little walk in town on Monday. A friend suggested that sometimes I use my “first 30 minutes after work” time as Time Out in the World instead of just house-work, so I gave that a go, and it was good. Town is dressed up for Halloween.
On Thursday I went into the city to meet my niece and her friend for dinner. She (niece) lives in CA so this was a rare opportunity to see her. Most of the way was stop and go and I was able to take pictures from the bridge, which I can’t usually do.
But I’m so annoyed at myself at not getting a picture of us!!! So I’m going to share the one of the last time we were all able to meet in the city for dinner. This is February, 2016. Lifetime in Review. Ooh! That’d be a good post 🙂 Looking here I think my niece and I have the same nose, though I really never thought that before. We also have the same belly, though she was pregnant at the time 🙂
Good morning, Janey.
I stopped down by the harbor on my way to get breakfast on Saturday. We were on the fringes of some nor’easterly weather. The water was right up to the ground level. Normally there’s like a 20′ drop from that railing down to the water. The other parking lot was flooded, the water came right up over “the edge.”
And on Sunday we went to Central Park thinking there might be some nice fall foliage. We were just a liiitttllle early. But still, we walked three miles, took a bunch of pictures, saw some things, had some laughs and snacks. It was a good day. I’m glad I went – I almost didn’t.
I really did make a great big bubble like Bubble Guy.
We saw not one, but TWO, cats in Central Park on leashes. Apparently this is now a thing. This handsome fella was very interested in the squirrels.
Halloween’s this week – are you ready??
We went to the Conservatory Garden in the park, which is lovely and gentle this time of year.
And The Child sent me a photo from Day One in the Bahamas with The Boy.
And now it’s time to go to bed and start it all over again tomorrow. I have a lot going on this week and I’m tired already. Couldn’t we just hold up the world for a week so we could all take a breather??

Cats on leashes…I used to take my Spookie out on a leash. The first time it was like it weighed 500 pounds. But her curiosity got the better of her and she tolerated it after that. Then she got sick, and we’ve decided she needs to stay inside since then….
For not having much to share, you certainly have a ton to share…LOL!! Besides, some weeks need to be less crazy, right??
XOXO

What a beautiful photo of the tree! We have planned to go next weekend to the forrest, I hope the leaves are not all gone then because it will be windy and cold here. Have a good start of the week!

I love all the “decorated” times! And the gardeny times. And the foliage times. And the snowy times 🙂
