I bet you haven’t seen that Hallmark card.

What did you do for the first day of spring? Was it mild enough where you are to enjoy the outdoors? Did you get to wear an easy-breezy outfit? Did you have a picnic by a pond and feed the ducks?

I spent the mild(ish) afternoon moving all my stuff out of storage. Well, I hired a guy with a truck and trailer to do a lot of the heavy lifting, but it was still a joint effort and WE got all my stuff out of storage. It’s a proud, proud day. My apartment looks like a bomb (a box bomb) went off in it, but…at least I don’t have to pay the April storage unit fee. WOOHOO! HAPPY SPRING!!!

Spring is all about rebirth and fresh starts, right? This is good.

So is this outfit (#seguesaremylife). I had some inspiration from Alicia of Between the Pearls. I am a bad, bad blogger and neglected to ask permission to use her photo, so I will only include the link here to the outfit that made me go OOH. I CAN DO THAT.

I already had all the pieces – Old Navy camel duster, H&M white tee, Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, and Aldo chestnut espadrilles. Not exactly sure why I’d never put them all together before, but…thank you, Alicia, for the inspo!

If it had been a little chillier I could have wrapped a light scarf around my neck (still searching for the dream leopard print scarf with red border!) and been good.

So…what are you doing for the second day of spring??
