I’m giving this weekly series a try, sharing what I actually wear to work everyday…for better or worse. You’ll see how often I repeat articles of clothing and how I mix and match pieces from my wardrobe to make new outfits.

Wednesday

Remember, it was a short week for me.

I went to a networking(ish) breakfast so dressed a little more than I normally would have on a 90-degree day.

I wore the black Asos dress under a camel Old Navy duster length cardigan, with my black “off-road” Taryn Rose flats. It could have used a long gold pendant or a scarf, something to break up the big expanse of black and pull a third (or more) color in. And I’m craving gold bracelets lately. I used to have several but over the years I would sell them off when I needed money.

Thursday

Today was rainy and cool and I had 3 camera club classes scheduled, so I knew there’d be quite a bit of walking. So I wanted my comfy sneakers and jeans…and I topped them with an easy top and lightweight mustard linen hoody.

Friday

Fri-yay! It’s sunny and mild today. I have two camera club classes at different locations, so lots of walking means flats. My daily outfits are usually based on two main things: weather and the day’s activities. I used to have more “all day in the chair” days so I wore more dresses and flats. Now I have camera club every day so I’ve been dressing more suitable for walking and sweating.

I’m a little fallish today in a pumpkiny-gold tee with black polka dots. The polka dots tie in with the long black cardi. I considered white jeans or these light wash jeans but thought the light wash was a little more casual and less apt to get dirty on my camera club travels. I wore my leather espadrilles cuz they’re easy to walk in, but I brought my black Skechers for one of the camera locations cuz I knew we’d be walking in wet grass. I was running late (shocker) so I didn’t stop to put on any jewelry.

What did you think of this format? Is it helpful/interesting/entertaining (ha) to see actual daily outfits? I appreciate your feedback.
