Plus Size Workday Wardrobe ~ December 14-18
SUNDAY
Whoop! Whoop! Exciting Bonus Day of Workday Wardrobe (ha ha, getting a little full of myself here). I had to photograph Sunday’s outfit for something else anyway so am including it. IF you’re on TikTok I’m starting to put a little content there now, including an outfit of the day.
Friend and I went walking at the pine forest, so leggings, baggy shirt, and sneakers. It was a VERY mild day.
Shirt: MentalHealthMovement.com size FIVE X!!! “You Matter Most” logo.
Leggings: Old Navy High Waisted Power Soft Pocket Leggings, size 3x
Sneakers: Adidas Cloudfoam
MONDAY
My Going Into the City to See Christmas Lights outfit of the day.
Sweater: As I called it on TikTok: “AmericanEagleMockTurtleShakerKnitBalloonySleeveCreamSweater” cuz I only have 60 seconds to describe my whole outfit. It was practically a rap. I’m so proud. Word. Oh, size XXL. XXL is their largest size and seems equivalent to a 3x.
Jeans: Charlotte Russe Refuge Cropped Skinny Jeans, 22 short
Sneakers: Aerosoles Betunia Leopard Flats
TUESDAY
Braving an open neck on a cold day. Realizing I could really use a couple more crew- and turtleneck sweaters. It’s been pretty mild so far but it’s GONNA get cold anytime now and I really prefer having my neck/throat/chest covered up.
Shirt: Loft Buttondown Tunic, size 22/24
Cardigan: Old Navy Brown Open-Front Pocketed Cardigan, 2x. Their plus size cardigans run a tad large. Not currently in stock.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jeans, Scottsdale wash, size 20 short
Shoes: Reebok Classics (Champions?). I’m not sure about the white white sneaker with the dark jeans. I’ve seen it on others and it looked sharp. I don’t think the application is quite right here. They’re SO white. And the jeans are just a little long for a sneaker. It doesn’t all add up that well. I have still not settled on The Perfect White Leather Sneaker.
WEDNESDAY
My IT’S GONNA SNOW IT’S GONNA SNOW outfit of the day. I wasn’t leaving the house, but I had a zoom in the afternoon, so clothing was in order. And I didn’t have to take the weather/temperature into account.
Sweater: Ellos Cream Cashmere V-Neck, size 3x. This is the loveliest sweater. It’s soft (so soft), light (so light), and warm. Comparable here.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Callisto wash, size 20 short.
Sandals: I know. I was just feeling sandally. Birkenstocks Arizona suede
Floor: Mousy Cat Toy, Ponytail Holder, Leaf. What goes on the floor stays on the floor.
THURSDAY
Work from Home slash Snow Shoveling outfit of the day.
Turtleneck: Knit Fit (Fit Knit?) Woman – a Kohl’s brand – Grey Cashmere Turtleneck with a big a** hole under the right arm that I just noticed when taking it off. I mean, it’s probably 10 years old. It owes me nothing. And I’ll keep wearing it til it falls apart. I MIGHT even try mending it (SPOILER ALERT: I will not).
Tee under Turtleneck: H&M rayon jersey tee, 3x. I love these tees from H&M. They’re cheap, super thin and drapey. They’re perfect for layering.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Callisto wash, size 22 short. These are an old, old pair. Interesting how the cut/sizing has changed over the years. These are a little long and I’ll probably end up cropping them. But the waist is super tight, which is good cuz it keeps them from slipping down.
Sneakers: You know this
Socks: HA HA HA HA HA never
FRIDAY
My Discovered at 10 to 8 That I Was Supposed to Be At Work at 8 outfit (and hair!) of the day.
Sweater: Catherine Malandrino Cashmere Crewneck, size 3x
Buttondown: Charlotte Russe Blue Tencel, size 3x, from back in the day when they carried above size 20.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, black, size 20 short.
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slipons. Remind me to tell you the profound realization I’ve had about these sneakers. Another time. It’s 10:09pm Friday and I’m tired of looking at THIS screen and want to go look at THAT screen down there and watch my drama.
And that’s it, friends! Hope y’all are staying safe and warm (or cool).

Love the snow-shoveling outfit photo. You look so happy/casual/chic. The dark gray turtleneck looks great on you– good color.

Love it! My least “studied” outfit of the week. Gave no thought beyond “I want my ankles covered up cuz I’m gonna be in the snow” and I want my neck covered up cuz it’s cold…but I don’t want so much on that I sweat while shoveling. Not a lot of great “fits” here but each piece served a purpose. My hair is greasy and I don’t think I’d even brushed my teeth that morning!
What I really think makes this particular photo so pleasing is the light. The snow acts as a giant reflector, shining the softest clean light on everything. Beautiful light makes everything look a little nicer.

I can’t believe that’s what you wear to shovel snow…no hat, no scarf, no mittens??? OMG, I would be an icicle. LOL!!!
As for covering your neck, there’s these cool things called scarves. If you want, I’ll send you a couple to try!!!
OXOX

You know I love kidding with you, right? Did you see I called you out in a post last week, haha!!!

I heat up with a minimum of movement. I get overheated VERY QUICKLY even in the snow/cold. Hat scarf mittens? Who me? Absolutely not. Hat? Never.
Ha, I certainly have no shortage of scarves. They’re just not something I wear while doing an ACTIVITY. Too bulky fussy HOT for me. Scarves are for standing around or riding in the car.
And no, I did not see myself mentioned in one of your blog posts this week, will have to check back!
