Week in Review: Week 280
It was a weird week.
MONDAY
Uhm. Not much going on.
TUESDAY
I borrowed the landlady’s dog-sitting charge for the evening. I forgot her name so I just called her Sophie 🙂 It was nice to have a dog in the house.
AND…I got this text today from the police department. It made my day.
WEDNESDAY
Kind of down today. I feel like I disappointed someone at work…which made me disappointed in MYSELF. I felt a little better after reading at the park for a few hours til it was dark.
THURSDAY
Today was a WHIRLWIND. Work was DO DO DO DO DO LONG MEETING DO DO DO DO. Ha. Fortunately, I was feeling better than yesterday and I was able to find the humor in it all.
FRIDAY
Uhm. I spent THREE HOURS on the phone with someone. I don’t think I’ve ever been on the phone for three hours in my LIFE. It was fun. It was a guy person. There may or may not be a story here.
Plus, sushi for lunch.
SATURDAY
It’s not das fenster but….I’m learning me some words. I’m golden if I get myself a job as a dishwasher in a Korean restaurant.
SUNDAY
Made a little more progress in “box alcove” this weekend. And the “stuff to leave the building” pile is slowly diminishing.
Baby steps.
Sorry for the lack of interesting (are they? really?) stories. A LOT of time was spent talking/texting with That Guy. I STARTED to write about it every day…and it was a LOT. But in the end I decided to pull it out…and wait and see what happens first. At this moment it seems to be going south, but…I’m not ready to throw in the towel YET.
I’ll keep you posted.
WHAT I’M WATCHING
The Olympics, of course! At least when the television is being cooperative and allowing me to. MOST of the time it says “nope you can’t do that.” Ugh. Stupid inanimate objects ruling my life.
The End.

Your week sounds very interesting! I live on a farm and all our bills are really quiet. I hope the wild one was founded up and returned safely to his owner.

Yeah, Long Island is not very “bully” so this was surprising news. Apparently “Barney” (as he has been dubbed by the media) was bound for the slaughterhouse for some sort of Muslim religious sacrifice. It seems he is still at large. Several animal sanctuaries have stepped up to say they’ll take him if/when he’s found. It’s astounding that a 1,500 pound bull could HIDE on Long Island for a WEEK, but. Hopefully someone nice finds him and takes him to the sanctuary.
Cheryl
Oops sorry, bulls.

Barney obviously must be wearing camo to keep him from being seen….gosh that cracks me up.

Barney…the dinosaur??

Do so hope Barney is allowed to live if caught can’t bear to think of him being a sacrifice. Also your little dog is so like my daughter’s Marley.

Barney still on the loose. Well, *I* bet someone could have captured him and are just keeping him in their backyard. I mean, that’s what *I* would do 🙂
