Plus Size Outfit of the Day ~ April 12, 2022
Woohoo look at me part springy!
White jeans would have made this even springier but they’re in the dirty clothes hamper, perhaps to never be seen again.
I haven’t been able to force myself into laundromat mode in a LONG TIME. In March, I took some clothes to be washed to CA…in Feb I brought some to wash at work on a week we were closed…in December I brought some to FL…and in Nov I took some to CA. Have I not been to the laundromat since October…or earlier?? Possibly. I am not a big clothes washer. Underwear I can throw into the bathroom sink…small tees and fine knits get washed by hand as needed.
This top has been with me for a pretty long time. Since 2016, back in my “try all different kinds of things” Gwynnie Bee days. This, while not my usual jam – low-front, brightly-patterned – it has stood the test of time. I believe it has been washed exactly…never. Ha.

If you’re in hand wash mode (been there myself), I recommend Soak laundry soap that doesn’t have to be rinsed out! Soak, squeeze, flat dry.

In. Hand. Wash. Mode.
Oh. That sounds horrible.
But…NO RINSING?? WHAT?? I don’t even understand that.
HOWEVER, I forgot that tomorrow I will be at work, BUT the school is closed…which means I can sneak some laundry in! Woohoo!

I really like this print- it hints at spring but can work now on those not-quite days when it’s still chilly. And I hear you- just because you wear it, it doesn’t mean you have to wash it. Undergarments, close-fitting tees, etc., can all get washed by hand in the sink, you’re right. But a little Febreze does wonders for pieces worn but not “dirty.” Also- have you tried the Tide refresher spray that has antimicrobial properties? A little germ-killing action to perk a piece right up! I live for the stuff.
Hope you have a lovely weekend ahead! And thank you for stopping by my new post!

Ooh, I’m a big fan of febreze but never thought of febreezing my clothes! Thanks for the tip, Ashley!

Good point re: Febreze. I particularly like to Frebreze sweaters after wearing over another shirt; you can get a lot of wears that way between washes.
