Plus Size Outfit of the Day ~ Aug 25, 2022
I have a lotta nerve. Putting THIS picture on here. This outfit. Like I’m Miss La Dee Dah, look at me, I’m on style blogger on the internet!
In my defense, it was “cleaning up day” at work…so I knew I needed to dress to get dirty. I had to scrounge around in the basement for some supplies for an upcoming event, organize an unorganized supply closet and…worst of all, clean the disgusting DISGUSTING microwave in the teachers’ kitchen. I’ve never felt more like a mom. Ugh. BUT, I got a lot done. So. Here I am. Dirty and greasy (hair).
And I swear I did wear shoes to work.

You know, it’s so much less annoying cleaning/organizing someone else’s space. Well, not so much the DISGUSTING microwave (I mean, come on, people!), cuz that’s just gross. At least at home it’s MY gross, but OTHER PEOPLE’S gross? Ugh, no thank you. And yet…it wasn’t getting cleaned on its own, so…I played the role of grown-up for a hot minute and just DID IT. But the other things/throwing out things that don’t belong to me? To which I have no emotional attachment or personal history?? SO SATISFYING. Ha ha. And it’s nice to be able to do it on a week when no one else is a around, I’m not having to answer phones or let people in the front door….I can make a big mess, tell New Guy to take a bunch of boxes out to the dumpster, and poof, like magic, it’s a hundred times better 🙂 I didn’t even mind hunting through the secret hallways in the basement for things, cuz I found everything I was looking for pretty quickly so yay. Mission Accomplished.
Now I will go home and live in my own filth until…well, for awhile 🙂
