No work for me today! I headed out east alone to look for anything interesting. Didn’t know where I’d end up so jeans and sneakers seemed safest.

Too Busy To Think About Clothes. Last half-day of work.
Avenue leggings, 3x, several years old | Daily Ritual (I have to fight Every Single Time to not say Daily Harvest) tee from Amazon, 3x | Adidas sneakers, older than dirt.
wednesday
This was my work-work-work-oh crap it’s thundering i better get outside to do a picture before it’s too late-work-work-work outfit of the day.
New York & Co. dress, 3x, 3 years old | Mephisto slides, older than the oldest dirt
thursday
I HAD TO SEE HUMANS TODAY. More specifically, I was trapped all day in a building with humans (an event otherwise known as “a job”). I needed to wear the easiest thing I had. And a light sweater because the office can get chilly. Not complaining, just need to dress appropriately for it.

friday
Legal holiday today so No Work. Went for drive with friend out east a bit, stopped for lunch. Hot.

Three full days of work ahead in the coming week. Gah. That’s more Workday Wardrobe than Work From Home. Sigh. It was nice while it lasted.

The last top looks like a Cezanne painting! I love it! Poor Janey probably is going to have to adjust her nap schedule too when you’re away. I know our pets are getting very used to having everyone here all day to serve their every whim! I hope you have a wonderful Independence Day filled with fun and friends!

That top was last year’s birthday present to myself 🙂 I think it’s so pretty but is sort of a pain to wear as the v-neck opening is So Big, it’s constantly slipping around (especially sitting and with a crossbody bag. Like, I really don’t wear it to work, so it gets limited wear. I know I could have it altered but that doesn’t sound like an inexpensive alteration.
Thursday, my first day back to work, I left the house at 7:30am and got home at 7:30pm (I have a LOT on my plate right now!). When I walked in Janey was like MIAOWMIAOWPRRRTMROWRMIAOWTOUCHMEPETHOLDMEMIAOW. And i just wanted to sit by myself in silence. FOR. EVER. “Back to work” not high on my list.
I’m laying low for “independence day.” Not sure how I’m feeling about that right now.
Heard the fire truck roaming around the neighborhood earlier, horn blasting. I can’t see the street from my apartment but I’m guessing it was bedecked with redwhiteandblue swags, etc. Most fireworks displays have been cancelled (I’m thinking coronavirus-related). But I should give some thought to getting myself out – maybe get a spiked pina colada Slurpee 🙂 and sit on the little beach for sunset.

Haha, like I’ll look down and one whole bra cup is poking out. I hate wearing fussy things when I have to keep adjusting them. And that’s one of those things you can’t really tell from just trying something on in the fitting room at home walking around for five minutes. Oh well. It looks good in pictures, haha.
