MONDAY
Making Myself Get Out of the House for at Least a Few Minutes outfit of the day. I think I went out for a cup of coffee.

My Going to Vote outfit of the day. Yep, same shirt as yesterday. It’s being my favorite shirt to wear right now. I’m loving this brown cardigan.

And I essentially had those pieces, so.
But.
Yuck. Ha. For me, it’s the poor fitting white jeans combined with the poor fitting white tee. I have issues with white on white. On ME. White jeans + white sneakers = nurse, to me. I now know that white jeans + white shirt give me hospital orderly vibes. I have the utmost respect and admiration for those essential workers…but that is really not the vibe I was going for.
I realize her jeans are leaning slightly to the cream side…and her denim jacket is darker than my lighter chambray shirt. I think those two things, as slight as they are, make a big difference in the finished product.
I wore it to go to drive-thru coffee. I did not show it to the world.

Guh. Only wore the outfit I shot for next week’s outfit post…and no peaking! Ha.
Was nice to have a week’s worth of vacation dressing. Especially on such a mild week. Made things very easy. I like when things are easy.

Also, a question: some of the ads on Facebook feature some really cute fashions in our sizes but how do you know if they’re a legit place or if the outfits they sell are like the pictures and not a scam? Any boutique shops we can trust?

OMG those ADS! They kill me. I’m especially caught up by the plus-size LINEN ones. And it can be hard to tell. At this point I have a feel for the look of the ones that are OBVIOUS fakes (and not that they’re not actual clothing sellers, you just don’t get what you’re seeing in the picture- not quality-wise or size-wise). And maybe I should go more into this in an actual blog post (SOON!) so it can be shared with more people.

I’m so pleased with them! I’ve always loved the look but just thought they’d be too flat and hard for me for walking…but they’re lovely! It helped that I discovered this lower profile slip-on shoe so I don’t have to asphyxiate myself trying to tie them!

Wait…I LOVE the white on white with the black Chucks outfit. Totally modern and hip!! Seriously…you’re only seeing it through your eyes. Through my eyes it’s a total A+!!
As for the front tuck, I just watched a stylist on IG showing how tucking it more on the side can be better if you don’t like it in the front. Kinda like tucking it into one of your pockets. I tried it on me and thought it was a good option. Now you should experiment with it and see if it’s a thing!!!
