Where I share my daily plus size outfits…cuz we can all use a little inspiration sometimes! I’m not a fancy person, I’m just a regular human who has to wear clothes every day (like most of us, ha ha).

SUNDAY 12.20.20

Starting on Sunday? Time is a social construct. I am not social. Ipso facto, I have no time think.

I’m so lost.

PS – there’s a bunch of outfits with disappeared pictures. I took them. But apparently, they’re hanging out with my black turtleneck and awesome new year’s quote.

I am a living, breathing Black Hole.

Anyway, so I grabbed screenshots from my tiktok videos to replace the hiding missing pictures. Sorry for the poor quality.

Horsey Jacket: Wild Flower brand from Anthropologie, size 2x. HOW CUTE IS THIS COAT? It’s 100% but stretchy, what sorcery is that? I got it right at the end of last winter then QUARANTINE so I didn’t get to wear it much and probably never showed it to you except in a “what I bought this month” post. It has a hood!

Turtleneck: Mossimo/Target handkerchief hem grey turtleneck, size 3x. In dog years it’s 49 years old. I’m going to say I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of this. Other than my Jurassic era Adidas sneakers, this is probably the most worn item in my wardrobe.

Jeans: Kinda sorta stone-washed-looking jeans from Old Navy, size 22 short.

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons, currently my favorite foot-duds. They make me feel like I got swagger. No real explanation for that. I just feel like I would not be out of place at the cool kids’ table in them.  I’m thinking having them in a couple colors would not be a bad idea.

monday 12.21.20

A work-in-the-office day. This might be the last time I dressed “nicely” for the next two weeks.

Turtleneck: Anthropologie, size 2x, no longer available.

Jeans: Charlotte Russe Refuge jeans, size 22 short. No longer available.

Shoes: Aerosoles Betunia Leopard flats

tuesday 12.22.20

A rare look at a different part of the property as neither of the landlords were home to peep on me and go WHAT THE HECK IS SHE DOING

This was a work-from-home day but with a running-to-work-to-take-pictures-of-our-holiday-driveby-parade-thingie element. So, sneakers, jeans, turtleneck. Bam.

Turtleneck: Rachel Rachel Roy Asymmetric Hem turtleneck, size 3x. No longer available.

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Callisto wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

wednesday 12.23.20

I need about a week of not having to put on clothes cuz I’m feeling so over just about everything right now. All I want to wear when it gets cold is turtlenecks so the few I have are in heavy rotation right now. Tried to mix it up a little today. Meh. I think I’d prefer less color contrast between the cream turtleneck and the blue sweater. Maybe grey. Or a black and white stripe.

Hmm. I just had a flashback (or made-up thought) that I DID buy a black and white striped turtleneck last year. Maybe I returned it for any of the zillion reasons I always have for not being satisfied with things cuz I have certainly not seen it anywhere. Oh well.

I’m not pleased with the high contrast of cream neck to blue top. I feel like it looks like I have a neck brace on.

Turtleneck: J Crew Whisper Thin Cream Turtleneck, size 3x

Sweater: Tahari Blue Merino Wool, size 3x. Old.

Shoes: Black Aerosoles Betunia Flats

Coat: Old Navy Collarless Recycled Wool, size 3x, old.

FRIDAY 12.25.20

Christmas outfit of the day. We weren’t going anywhere but I wanted to at least have a good photo outfit. Got this green sweater recently and love love it.

Sweater: Treasure & Bond/Nordstrom Crewneck Pullover in Olive Sarma, size 3x

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, black wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

SATURDAY 12.26.20

Day after Christmas city day. It was cold and we were going to be doing a lot of walking. My photographer/creative director did not advise me that my coat was all bunched up under my bag.

Turtleneck: Anthropologie, size 2x, no longer available.

Silk Underwear: You can’t see it, but it’s there keeping me cozy without adding bulk. Land’s End Silk Interlock, size 3x. It was a little pricey but I’ve had it for 5 years and wear it All The Time in the winter.

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Scottsdale wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

Coat: Old Navy collarless (I’m a fan of collarless) recycled wool coat, size 3x. No longer available.

TUESDAY 12.29.20

It was Two-Fer Tuesday cuz runny egg yolk ran down into the sleeve of the grey cardi I had on in the morning. And I can not “spot wash” anything without getting the whole thing wet and then it had to lay on a patio chair in 30 degree weather to try and dry.

Cardi #1: Grey Waffle Weave Cascade Hoody from Avenue when Avenue still had stores. I’ve had this 5-6 years. Size 3x.

Cardi #2: Black Chenille Charlotte Russe cardigan, also 5-ish years old from The Year I Bought All the Chenille. I don’t really wear it out of the house. It’s way big. And not in a nice oversized way, but in a “I’m 12 years old and wearing Daddy’s grown man coat” way.

Striped tee: Boohoo from 2017. I like the fit, I hate the sleeves. So I only wear it under things so the sleeves are hidden.

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Scottsdale wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

WEDNESDAY

Nightgown day. No evidence.

THURSDAY

Last outfit of 2020.

Red Plaid Blouse: Sanctuary, size 3x. No longer available.

Tee: Black Daily Ritual/Amazon tee, 3x.

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, black wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

FRIDAY

New Year’s Day Have to Get Rent Money from the Bank First Outfit of 2021 outfit of the day.

Turtleneck: Grey cashmere Kint Fit Woman/Kohls, size 3x. I think this is between 8-10 years old.

Shirt: Blue chambray Tencel from Charlotte Russe, circa 2006. Size 3x.

Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Scottsdale wash, size 20 short

Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

PHEW DONE. I’m pooped and the computer is sick of me.
