Sharing a week’s worth of plus size outfits, for better or worse!

Question: is the jump to seven days (from five) of outfits too much?

Apology: I’m a boob and didn’t realize I had my camera in manual focus for the first 3 days so I had to swipe video stills from TikTok.

SATURDAY

SUNDAY

Birthday brunch in the city. Cold. It’s always a fine line between dressing warmly enough for sitting and not being too warm when walking. I’m not doing indoor dining still, so if eating is involved, it means sitting outside.

This outfit was just right.

In the winter I never know if I should photograph the outfits with coat on or not. Thoughts?

  • Sweater: Loft navy blue poncho turtleneck, size 3x
  • Silk Underwear: Lands End black long silk top, size 3x
  • Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, black, size 20 short
  • Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons
  • Coat: (unseen but an important part…and it looks great over this navy turtleneck) Old Navy recycled wool collarless coat, size 3x

MONDAY

Back to work in the office. Four days for me this week. CAN I COME UP WITH FOUR WORK-WORTHY OUTFITS IN A WEEK ANYMORE? Ha. I’m used to Dress Up one day, Dress Down the next.

Anyway, a cold day, so light layering with a sweater was the plan. Got a little double denim action going on. AND I love the color combo of the faded blue chambray with the dark grey sweater.

Now if I just had a different pair of shoes for a change, ha ha. Am considering another pair of these Converse slip-ons but can’t decide on color. There’s a light grey I’ve always liked…and I love all the sherbet colors – pink, violet, mint green – cuz that’s the palette that’s living rent-free in my head lately. Thoughts?

TUESDAY

WEDNESDAY

Rawr.

THURSDAY

I love this charcoal grey over the white jeans. Wish I had a light pink or light blue or, ooh, lilac, tee peeking out through the side slits.

FRIDAY

This is the coldest day we’ve had so far this winter and if it was just a normal “go to work, go home” day, I would definitely have had something more “neck-covery” and cozy, but I actually had plans for after work with a human (WAIT, WHAT?!?) and didn’t want to be overdressed and overheated at someone’s house. Plus, I love love wearing this sweater and haven’t worn it in a couple weeks. I actually just bought it in another color and I’m hoping to like the color better in person than on the website but I’ll just have to wait and see on that…but I DO love the fit, cut, and feel of the sweater.

Boom. Longest Week Ever, OVER.
