Holy COW have I hit the wall! Did I just talk about this yesterday? I feel like maybe. But today I am REALLY tired. I can hear murmurs of “take a day off!” but…then there’s just twice as much to do tomorrow! All my things have hard deadlines, I can’t just willy nilly take days off (oh the horror). And now it’s feeling the same at work. “Alone in the office” is catching up with me this week, too.

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY! I’m dating myself. Who remembers that?

I don’t know what the answer is. I don’t think there’s an answer. I think it’s just “get through it.” Not that I’m equating what I’m doing AT ALL to what they have to do, but it’s sort of like med students and getting through med school and being an intern…you just gotta get through it, there’s no break…you just gotta get through it.

I sure hope all this pans out !!!

ANYWAY. I have somehow managed to never wear these two shirts together. I think it’s cuz til I washed it recently and it was all crisp and nice, this button-down seemed more…not FANCY, but not casual. But now that it’s been washed (and not ironed!) it’s all wrinkly and it seems more on the same level as the mustard tee, so…VOILA, a new combination is born. I like the skinny vertical stripes with the wider horizontal stripes…and the mustard with the grey. It looked better when the mustard sleeves were pushed up but.

It’s fun to find new combinations in your closet that you hadn’t noticed before. I always think “oh I’ve done it all already” and then BAM there’s one more thing to do.

LIFE IS ONE BIG SURPRISE AFTER ANOTHER.
