I’ve mostly worn these mustard linen pants with with the white linen button-down or the navy-and-white striped tee with the (this) blue chambray top. But once again, two things wound up in my line of sight at the same time (shirt and pants) and I went OH. Huh. Hmm.

It’s a LITTLE “too perfectly coordinated” for me but…AT LEAST IT’S SOMETHING DIFFERENT and right now I am craving SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Originally I was going to wear it with a so-dark-grey-it-essentially-reads-as-black-til-you-look-at-it-really-closely button-down that’s been in my closet for I think 2 years and just never makes the cut even though in theory I like it. I thought FINALLY! ITS TIME HAS COME!

And I put it on…looked in the mirror…and took it back off, ha ha. It just wasn’t IT. It was too dark with this deep-hued-but-vibrant outfit. It sort of brought the whole vibe down. So. As USUAL, a blue chambray shirt comes to the rescue, sound the horns.
