It’s a Brand New Week…and time to start wearing my same five outfits again, ha ha. At least with this black dress I have a LITTLE variety, cuz I can wear it under the lilac linen button-down (as here), the white linen, the blue chambray, or the beige/white stiped linen button-down. So I’m trying to at least rotate through those options during the month.

Is it fall yet?

I had a delightful weekend of at-home nothingness. By nothingness I mean no obligations to others. *I* was pretty productive.

I finally (FINALLY!) got ALL the pictures out of ALL the photo albums! I’ve sorted pictures into two main categories: 1) Those I want to scan for myself, and 2) Those that other people MIGHT want. Katie will get first dibs to go through and take what she wants, and the rest will be farmed out to the relevant people. I have a lot of pictures of Russell’s family members who are no longer with us, so…he and his sisters might want those.

I discovered walking tour videos of areas I’m interested in living in SK, so it’s like I’m walking around and getting the lay of the land as well as doing a vibe check. School #1 is rapidly moving into the #2 position (and vice-versa) based on this new intel. Ha ha. Plus it’s just addictive. I spent a LOT of time watching those.

I moved ALL my ebay store items over to auction format at low low prices, so hopefully some of that stuff will move and I can start replenishing the Korea fund after last week’s decimation by car hell.

I read, I did homework, I napped, I watched k-dramas and BTS videos, I watched BTS’ Hobie and TomorrowxTogether (TXT) perform at Lollapalooza, which was a Big Deal, as they are the first Korean acts to ever perform there AND Hobie’s night in particular was the biggest ticket-selling night in the history of the event (oh, the power of Army).

I practiced speaking and reading out loud. That has been a weak link for me so I joined a group where we take turns reading (Korean) dialogues out loud and getting our pronunciation corrected. It’s so nerve wracking! And these are just *my* people! I can’t imagine the horror and anxiety of speaking Korean to an actual native Korean speaker! I’ve been trying for like a year to work up the nerve to just say hello in Korean to my adorable bagel lady!

That was my weekend. How about you??
