Another lovely dry, not hot day. Ahh. I didn’t even turn the ac on in the car!

I ALMOST snagged the Junarose dress on the falling-apart 1940s rattan porch chair I have in the living room. I have many pieces of beholed clothing from that chair. I keep having the thought “let it go. you’re going to have to let it go eventually. just let it go now.” Sigh.

I loved that pair of chairs when I won them at auction, back when I had my sweet lil house on Long Island. They were that perfect shade of 1940s aqua/seafoam 40s green and were perfect on the covered porch.

Cats pulled enough at one of them that it already went…wherever dead rattan chairs go. But this makes a good catchall for coats and bags by the front door. Madison used to like sleeping on it cuz I keep a folded faux fur blanket on it. Jane only went on it with him. And now there’s no one to go on it. But I always think IF a few people came over (ha ha ha ha ha ROFL) I could use its services.

Okay, it stays for now.

Ha. This is how it goes.

Meanwhile, the Junarose dress is safe.

For now.
