Have I worn all my plaid shirts this week? Who knew I would end up loving plaid shirts so much! They were such a “boyfriend shirt” back in the 70s when I, well, had boyfriends, ha ha. My favorites were the ones with snaps. I called them kiddy snaps. Cuz they were so easy to rip open (TMI?). Mimi Mimi! Bettye unbuttoned a boy’s shirt!

When I was young and my niece was even younger, she liked to tattle on me to my mother (whose name was Mayme Mae, but my niece called her Mimi). I can still hear MIMI MIMI! BETTYE KISSED A BOY! MIMI MIMI! BETTYE PUT HER FINGER IN THE FIRE! Ha.

She has grown up to be a lovely human and I don’t think (?) she tattles on me to anyone anymore.

Anyway. Plaid shirt. All the browns. Chocolate-brown cardigan. Medium wash jeans. I like the chocolate with the denim.
