I am decidedly UNspringy today.

Fun Fact: April 14 in South Korea is Black Day. As in the US, February 14 is Valentine’s Day, BUT…in SK, Valentine’s Day is for women to give gifts to men. A month later is White Day on March 14, and that’s when men give gifts to women. And lastly (sigh, always), is Black Day on April 14, and that is SINGLES Day for those that didn’t receive gifts on February OR March 14. A day to wear black (not sure if that’s to mourn the loss/death of a love life?) and celebrate with your single friends, maybe by going out for jajangmyeon, which is black bean noodles. Which are YUM. MEE.

So, while it is a lovely, mild, sunny and warm day, I am here in dark clothes, high contrast red and black color scheme, and cozy cashmere. Ha.

ALWAYS APPROPRIATE, that’s my motto.

PS – this red shirt way too long for this sweater. Just sayin.

Yesterday my wrist was feeling so good that I took the brace off in the early evening…and now today it hurts again. Guh.
