Winter Dressing. I’ve had just about enough.

SATURDAY

Saturday morning errands. Just a simple look for getting in and out of the car several times.

I hate getting in and out of the car.

Turtleneck: Jessica London cotton/cashmere blend, 22/24, similar
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, black wash, 20 short
Coat: J Crew wool camel wool, size 22
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

SUNDAY

In a show I watched last night one of the male leads was wearing a mustard tee shirt under a medium grey cardigan and I loved the combination. This is my attempt to replicate.

I haven’t worn this striped tee much lately, I don’t like an exposed chest in the winter…but I tried it with the worn-27,000-times-in-the-past-month H&M tee underneath and…it’s okay. I pulled this cardigan off the “to sell” rack. It’s not my favorite but I needed a darker grey than my light grey Old Navy one. So this is sort of an Island of Misfit Toys outfit but I kinda like it. Ish.

White Tee: H&M rayon/cotton jersey, 3x
Striped Tee: Old Navy, 3x
Cardigan: Charlotte Russe, 3x
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans, Scottsdale wash, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

MONDAY

Monday. Back to the office. Snowy and cold. I’m not feeling it.

I’m writing this as I’m in a zoom. The too-long, too-large sleeves in the wide-angle lens view make me look like (Raggedy Ann & Andy and) The Camel with the Wrinkled Knees. But in my arms. Ha ha.

Sweater: Camel Anthropologie Turtleneck, 3x
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda, Callisto wash, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons
Coat: Old Navy collarless recycled wool oversized, 3x, comparable

TUESDAY

Work from home, not leaving the apartment.

I don’t know that wearing the henley as the “underlayer” ever occurred to me before, but I like it. And I really like the oatmealy color of the top with the red plaid blouse.

Henley Top: Belk, 3x
Buttondown: Sanctuary, 3x
Jeans: GVA <- you know what that is, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

WEDNESDAY

Back to work in the office. So many things are in the dirty clothes hamper at this point I feel like I’m working with a wardrobe of like nine things.

Sweater: Grey Cashmere Catherine Malandrino, 3x. Comparable.
Buttondown: Old Navy, 3x
Jeans: GVA <- you know what that is, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons
Coat: J Crew, size 22

THURSDAY

I’ve been sell-pile picking again. I’ve had this cardigan for at least 5 years and while I like it, I only ever wore it with one dress…and I really don’t wear the dress anymore (also on the sell pile) so, the cardigan went unworn. It’s a little big with a borderline schlubby fit. But now with so much work from home WHO CARES ha ha.

You know I love a black column…and I love the low contrast of this deep blue over the black.

I wasn’t feeling well that day and the turtleneck with slight shawl collar on the cardigan kept my neck nice and cozy.

Cardigan: Micheal Kors, 3x
Turtleneck: Cashmere cotton blend by Jessica London, 3x – I need to take a look back there, I like this turtleneck so much I might get a couple other colors.
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons

FRIDAY

FRIDAY. This has become a Friday sweater. It’s just so EASY. Just how you want Friday to be.

Sweater: Treasure & Bond/Nordstrom, 3x
Jeans: Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda, 20 short
Sneakers: Converse Shoreline slip-ons. I really have to bite the bullet and get another pair. I love the idea of the navy…and the light grey as we’re heading into spring. CUZ WE’RE HEADED INTO SPRING, RIGHT?
