2016-2017

I know I am Very Particular (others have a different word for it)…and under the best of conditions, I can usually find 1, 2, 3 things that could be improved on. I don’t really think of this as complaining…it’s said more in the spirit of “there’s always room for improvement.”

2017-2018

But I have NOTHING BUT PRAISE for the new changes at Old Navy. In their STORES. Not only have they brought plus sizes back to their brick & mortar stores, the items are NOT smooshed onto a clearance rack at the back of the store, they are on EVERY rack EVERYWHERE throughout the store, right along with their straight-sized brothers and sisters. As They Should Be.

Yep, Every Item (EVERY item) is now carried In-Store in ALL SIZES. No more coveting the cute dress/blouse/whatever and not being able to have it because it only goes up to a size 16. NOW PLUS SIZE FOLKS CAN HAVE ALL THE CUTE THINGS.

Ha.

2018-2019

But wait, there’s more! They are no longer pricing plus sizes higher than smaller sizes (ugh, that was aggravating!).

2019

I’ve always been a big (<–see what I did there??) Old Navy proponent (can you say super-thin duster length cardigan??). The brand is represented in my wardrobe probably only second to Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans.

So I was SO PLEASED to go in-store last week and be able to shop LIKE A NORMAL (ahem) PERSON.

2019-2020

When I was checking out (cuz I got to buy stuff! In PERSON!!!) I said to the cashier, “Please tell Ms/Mr Old Navy how much the plus-size community appreciates being VALUED and SEEN.” She was like “you have No Idea how MANY people have come in and said the same thing!!!” I’m so glad people are speaking up. I want Old Navy to know how important this is.

Thank You Thank You Thank You to Old Navy for keeping up with the times…AND with actual customer demand.

2020-2021

I thought I’d just share some of my Old Navy items from over the years (as though you haven’t already seen them a million times!) here.

PS: I tried to film a try-on haul in the fitting room but I’m a dumb dummy and left my cell phone in the car. Ugh.
