Okay, before I start going blah blah blah about my outfit, I have to share this VERY EXCITING NEWS – many of you know Julia from When the Girls Rule. Since covid started in 2020, she’s been working on building out a van, turning it into a mini-camper. She did almost all the work herself. I’ve been so impressed, watching her progress all along the way. Well, the van is done…and SHE’S BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR THREE WEEKS NOW!!! I could not be more excited for and proud of her!

Talk about an inspiration! She had a dream and SHE MADE IT HAPPEN!!! She’s living her best life, driving around the country with her dog Penny, seeing all the sights and doing all the things. She’s sharing her story and pictures from her travels over on her blog, so make sure you take a look.

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

After I got to work this morning and saw myself in the bathroom mirror, I thought damn…I wish I’d worn the blue chambray shirt under this camel turtleneck. I love faded chambray with camel…and this collar is a little loosey-goosey-cowly and I’d like the turned up collar underneath it and against my neck. Plus, this sweater is a little short so you’d get the faded blue of the shirt showing at the bottom, too.

I do tend to like things in threes. Three pieces. Three colors. Yesterday when I still had my horsey coat on over the red plaid button-down and the mustard striped tee, I had three patterns and it was a delight 🙂 I meant to take that picture but I forgot.

So I would have liked the dark wash blue jeans with the camel and the faded blue collared shirt.

Next time.

I am WEARING three pieces, but you can’t see the black tee-shirt under the sweater. I wore it for function, not form 🙂
