Oh. Well. I guess I DID have something red. This doesn’t feel very Valentinesy to me, though. Maybe with the pink tulle skirt, ha ha. That poofy skirt is actually on the To Sell pile. It’s a delight but doesn’t get enough wear and takes up SO much room in the closet! It’s SO poofy!

Anyway, this is one of my favorite shirt combos. I love the mustard with the red, even though there’s no mustard in the plaid shirt. They coordinate vs “matching” (as was yesterday’s issue). And I enjoy the pattern mixing of the stripe with the plaid. I ALMOST went with the cream turtleneck with very thin “line” stripe turtleneck under the v-neck, which would have added a third pattern. But I didn’t think I’d like the turtleneck under the v-neck (maybe if it was a smaller man’s sized “v”) and I’ll have to test out combining two horizontal stripes.

Remember back in the day when “they” always said not to wear horizontal stripes cuz they’ll make you look wider? A) that’s stupid, and b) what clothes even HAVE vertical stripes?? When was the last time you saw a vertical stripe on a piece of clothing?

I know I will now be sent 27 pictures of clothing items with vertical stripes 🙂

Jeans, sneakers. Shocker.
