It’s Green Dress Day (aka Hump Day). Just changing it up a little with the chartreuse (which I know sometimes reads as yellow on camera, but trust me, it’s chartreuse) over top. It’s so floaty, it’s almost like a kimono. With buttons.

How did I know these two very different greens would go (cuz not all greens go with all greens, ALTHOUGH, if you like a combination, you do you, whether it “goes” or not) together? Well, the dress is a blue-toned green…and chartreuse is a very yellow-toned green…and Yellow and Blue play Very Nicely together. Bam. They’re a little clashy, which I like, but also complementary.

Colors, amiright??

Also, come on, florals and polka dots? That’s a fun combination.

What I DON’T like about this pair is the length ratios. The shirt is VERY long and I would prefer something shorter over this very long, very full dress. But it doesn’t bother me enough to spend money on an alteration OR risk ruining it by trying to shorten it myself. It’s a VERY fragile fabric…it’s 100% rayon but I’m going to call it Angel Rayon cuz it seems like something an angel up in heaven would wear ๐Ÿ™‚

I DO feel very floaty today. I’m just gently swooshing through the day.
