Ooh it’s a big day, I’m straying from the prescribed summer outfit rotation. I’m not thrilled (shocker).

I’m not a fan of “tee shirt on its own” AND it’s a pretty hot day for jeans. BUT I needed to save the linen pants for tomorrow cuz it’s a laundromat day and it’s too awkward in a dress with all the bending over and lugging.

So it’s It Is What It Is Day.

Yesterday was actually a lovely afternoon/evening. My homework was done, I had no class, I wasn’t even “meeting” my All Things K friend to watch a k-drama together via text…so I really had the evening left to my own devices. I did my tiktok and blog OOTD and THEN…lay on the sofa in the ac, reading my book til I got hungry…then warmed up some spaghetti from the night before and watched a video on Korean sentence structure while I ate. Then went to bed really early. That, to me, is like a perfect evening.

So, Big News. I am reading a HISTORY BOOK. Not Historical FICTION. HISTORY. I don’t do that. I have never really liked history much. And it’s so hard to just drop in at some point and get caught up on all the dates, places, characters, timelines, battles (cuz there’s ALWAYS battles). I get so distracted with trying to keep all those details straight I sort of miss what actually happened. But now I’m reading a history book. Guess whose history. You’ll never guess (ha ha, you’ll totally guess). And I’m loving it.

It’s not even my country and I’ve never even been there and yet I feel so PROUD of it for its amazing accomplishments. I’ll write more on this later. You know, force some history on YOU 🙂
